A productive Month

I have completed a lot of paintings this month. I'd say it has been the most productive month I've ever had. I did all of these paintings and I also went to work everyday. It makes me think of how much I could get done if I did not have to work.

I have been getting very quick. Next weekend I plan on doing some plein air painting. I think I am ready. I am excited to try this new approach.

The future

Photobucket

This painting came straight out of my head. I have not done that in a while and it is something I feel I should do more. Working from no visual references freed me up.
Photobucket
This painting took only two hours. I am starting to realize that I am a in the moment painter. My paintings reflect the mood I'm in. Since I'm moody my moods may only last a couple hours. To capture these moods I must work fast.
